ERBIL - Iraqi PM Adil Abdul-Mahdi is expected to present on Tuesday six new ministers, while the ministries of defense and interior will remain vacant, an Iraqi lawmaker said.

"There are still disagreements among the political parties on the ministries of defense and interior," Fazil Fatlawi, an MP of al-Bina Coalition, said in a statement.

He asserted that the parliament will vote on the new ministers in Tuesday's session.

Fatlawi further noted that the al-Bina Coalition and the Alliance of Reform and Building, which consists of Muqtada al-Sadr’s Sa'eroun, Haider Abadi’s Victory and 16 other political groups, are making efforts to negotiate on the two remaining ministries.
