Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (cabinet.gov.krd) - Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani received the outgoing Armenian ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Karen Grigorian and his accompanying delegation.

Ambassador Grigorian expressed his appreciation to the government of the Kurdistan Region for its support. He expressed his country's readiness to strengthen the relations with the Kurdistan Region, particularly commercial and economic ties.

Prime Minister Barzani highly valued the activities of the Armenian ambassador and wished him success in his next position. He expressed hope of further development of relations between the Kurdistan Region and Armenia.
