ERBIL - Syrian rebels have raided the house of a Kurdish family in the Kurdish enclave of Afrin, southern Syria, insulting the civilians and looting their properties, a family member said on Saturday.

Talking to BasNews on condition of anonymity, a related source to the family explained that the militia raided the house on Friday morning at around 6:00.

The source noted that the Syrian rebels had insulted the Kurdish couple who are in their 80s.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has several times warned of violations made by the fighters in Afrin, saying that there is no stability in the city.
