Al-Hakim, Reform delegation visits PUK in Sulaimani
SULAIMANI, Kurdistan Region — Hikma leader Ammar al-Hakim and representatives from the Reform Coalition are meeting with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Sulaimani on Monday.


Discussions with the Kurdistani party's politburo are expected to focus on Iraqi government formation.

The Reform delegation met with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on Sunday in Erbil. KDP President Masoud Barzani re-emphasized the three principles for the basis of Erbil-Baghdad relations: Consensus, actual partnership and balance.

The Reform Coalition is comprised of Shiite and Sunni parties, alliances, and groups including of Sayirun, Hikma, Nasr and Wataniya.

The KDP and PUK tallied the most votes, 25 and 18 respectively, among parties from the Kurdistan Region in Iraq's parliamentary election on May 12.
