Baghdad Operations Command announced that about 19 ​​people were casualties in an initial result of the bombing of suicide bomber inside a popular coffee in central Baghdad yesterday


“A coward terrorist attack took place in Karrada district in central Baghdad,” The spokesman for Baghdad Operations, Saad Maan responded in a statement for " Shafaq News”.

He explained that a suicide bomber blew himself inside one of the cafes in Karrada district (Arkhita ) in central Baghdad , resulting in the deaths of four civilians and wounding fifteen other , indicating that these numbers for the victims are preliminary.

A suicide bomber wearing an explosive vest stormed yesterday evening a cafe in Arkhita area in Karrada neighborhood in central Baghdad and blew himself up inside crowds of young people who come to the place , causing at least 25 casualties , according to reports by security and medical sources.

Violence has surged in Baghdad and other provinces with the approach of parliamentary elections in Iraq, scheduled for 30th of this month.
