KRG's speaker announced the two official days off in the KRG's departments of the entire region, one on April 9, and the other on April 16.

Safeen Mushin Dzayee, KRG's speaker released to the official KRG website that the anniversary of the fall of Saddam's regime, which is April 9, will be an official holiday for the region.

As well as April 16, which is the New Year for the Yezidis, is another day off in the region.

"We sent new year congratulations to all the Yezidis," Dzayee added.

It is worth mentioning, in the past few days, Khandan website published a statement in the name of the KRG's official speaker that April 2 will be holiday, but Dzayee denied such a statement and revealed that April 2, will pass as a normal day.
