In his Statement, President Barzani Congratulated People of Kurdistan and families of martyrs on Occasion of Nawroz, Kurdish New Year and the first day of spring on March 20th, wished a happy and cheerful Nawroz to all.

“Dear citizens of Kurdistan accept my warmest congratulation and blessings on the occasion of Nawroz” read the statements.

“For all, Nawroz is a new begging to reach further successes and glory. Our nation has sacrificed a lot and has lost so many lives to build what we have today. I would like to ensure everyone that our sacrifices will not be forgotten or missed and Kurdistan is stepping towards a bright future” said the Kurdish President.

On the eve of this national event, President Barzani also recalled for a peaceful living among people with different national, ethnic and religious backgrounds, adding that “United we stand, United we are strong, and united we develop our motherland”.
